I arrived in Tokyo on the 8th at 4:30PM in Japan time. I took a shuttle bus to the hotel where I met my parents. We had dinner, talked a lot and went to bed.

The next day, we went to Shibuya after lunch. It was my dad’s first time to go to Shibuya, so he reacted just like you. (He didn’t watch the crosswalk for two hours, though.) We walked around Harajyuku as well, then went to the TOKYO SKYTREE.
TOKYO SKYTREE
There was a huge number of people and we had to wait for checking in, for getting on the elevator, for buying another ticket to go to the very top of the tower, and for returning by the elevator. I wish I could come with you, because the view was extraordinary, but I am honestly not sure if you can bear with this crazy “waiting” system. Maybe we should wait for another couple of years to try it. We had dinner with my friend, who was supposed to give a speech at the wedding with me, so we practiced our speech together a little bit. But most of the time, we just talked, talked and talked.

Today, November 10th, I woke up early in the morning to make time to call you on Skype before I head for my friend’s wedding. The result is, I was running out of time! I practiced my speech again and again while I had my hair fixed at a hair salon, then attended the wedding. The wedding was so good. I had such a great time. I was so grateful that I could have this chance to attend her wedding. She is definitely one of my best friends. My speech was so successful that my friend cried a lot. I almost cried, too. It was a great time. She was so beautiful.

I’m having the greatest time, but I’m thinking about you all the time.

I arrived in Tokyo on the 8th at 4:30PM in Japan time.

(正)I arrived in Tokyo on the 8th at 4:30PM Japan time.

「日本時間で」と言う場合、”in” はいらないんですね〜!”I arrived in Tokyo on the 8th at 4:30PM local time.”

  4. (誤)There was a huge number of people and we had to wait for checking in, for getting on the elevator, for buying another ticket to go to the very top of the tower, and for returning by the elevator.

(正)There was a huge number of people and we had to wait to check in, to get on the elevator, to buy another ticket to go to the very top of the tower, and to return by the elevator.

I wish I could come with you, because the view was extraordinary, but I am honestly not sure if you can bear with this crazy “waiting” system.

I wish I could have gone with you, because the view was extraordinary, but I am honestly not sure if you could bear with this crazy “waiting” system.

Today, November 10th, I woke up early in the morning to make time to call you on Skype before I head for my friend’s wedding.

(正)Today, November 10th, I woke up early in the morning to make time to call you on Skype before I headed for my friend’s wedding.

The result is, I was running out of time!

(正)The result was that I was running out of time!

I’m finding I make too much food on accident. I brew too much coffee, for example. I brew enough coffee for the Chib, out of habit. But there is no chib to drink it so the extra amount gets poured down the drain. I made too much oatmeal today and forced myself to eat it. Yesterday I fried two halves of a tomato, but realized by myself I only need to eat one half, so I threw the other half away. Pretty tragic.
